Troy Harris Joins IFPD

Don’t be fooled by his Vin Diesel rugged good looks. Though certainly capable of being the tough guy, the newest Idaho Falls Police Officer, Troy Harris, is a softy on the inside.
Troy joins the Idaho Falls Police with a great reputation for being able to diffuse any type of situation. He has most recently served as a police officer for Blackfoot PD.
Chief Dave Moore hates to see him leave and told me that Troy brings a maturity to the job not commonly found with new officers. He especially loves the way Troy treats the public, which is a big plus in my book.
Troy is married with five children and is a native to Idaho Falls. He graduated from the ISU Police Academy and has served honorably in the United States Army and the Idaho National Guard.
